Our most loved tour — the Sunrise Experience

This tour begins before dawn so we can reach a quiet spot on the canals in time to watch the sunrise. As the light changes, the water reflects different colors, creating an atmosphere unlike any other time of day.

Over three hours, you’ll paddle through calm, ancient canals, listen to the sounds of nature waking up, and learn about the chinampas, also known as floating gardens.

Guided in English by a local, the tour blends history, nature, and culture in a relaxed way that’s welcoming even for beginners.

For a convenient and enjoyable finish, we recommend adding a traditional Mexican breakfast at our family-run restaurant, located where the tour begins and ends. It’s freshly prepared, delicious, and very economical.

Breakfast and private parking are optional extras. Both must be reserved when booking, as spaces are limited and paid in cash only.

1. Booking and Payment

All tours must be booked in advance through our website.
A deposit or full payment may be required to confirm your reservation.
Extras such as traditional food and parking must be reserved when booking (limited spaces).
Food and parking are paid in cash only upon arrival.
Invoices (facturas) are available upon request at the time of booking.

2. Tour Participation

Tours are beginner-friendly and include a safety introduction.
Life jackets must be worn at all times on the water.
Children must be accompanied by an adult and remain under their full responsibility.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome but must be under control. Owners are fully responsible for their pets.
Kayak seats have a maximum capacity of 131 kg (288 lbs). Guests above this limit will use a double kayak for comfort and safety.
Please inform us in advance if you need or want a double kayak; otherwise, single kayaks will be assigned by default.

3. Duration and Schedule

Standard tours last about 3 hours, including preparation and instructions.
Sunrise tours and other special experiences may vary in duration.
Please arrive on time. Late arrivals cannot be refunded.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Deposits are non-refundable.
We kayak rain or shine. If conditions are unsafe (storms, heavy winds), we will cancel for everyone’s safety.

5. Safety and Liability

Participation is at your own risk. While we prioritize safety, water activities involve inherent risks.
By joining the tour, you agree to follow all safety instructions from our guides.
We are not responsible for accidents caused by failure to follow instructions, reckless behavior, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

6. Personal Belongings

Bring only what you need. We recommend leaving valuables at home or storing them in a waterproof bag.
We are not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items.

7. Food and Beverages

Traditional Mexican food can be added as an extra when booking (limited spaces).
Payment for food is cash only.
Alcohol and drugs are not allowed during the tour.
